In 2005, when Iraq's luxury automotive market was fragmented and dominated by informal trade, Dr. Sabah Abdul Latif Salem saw not risk — but opportunity. On 12 October 2010, Al-Uroush Automotive was incorporated and its first showroom opened in Erbil — redefining what automotive could mean in Iraq.
